Stutterfly
The Stutterfly series of illustrated posters is a collaborative project with the Proud Stutter podcast in the United States to draw attention to “linguistic diversity”. As a neutral word, "stuttering" needs a chance to be recognized and embraced by the public, which is what led to this series.
People need to understand it and then respect people who stutter. This poster series is designed to visually draw people to learn about this group.
Each stutterrflies in the series each represent the strait of the block, prolongation, and repetition. The girl in the fourth poster represents the second characteristic of stuttering, such as eye blinks and tension in the throat.
